My Olori Necklaces are inspired by Mala's. Olori is the yoruba word for Queen, and that is what you are.

Mala’s have been used for centuries by different and varied faiths for meditation and prayer. Mala means garland or rosary in Sanskrit. The Mala necklace is made up of 108 beads, the popular belief behind this number is that 1 stands for God, 0 for humility and 8 for infinity. Mala’s are usually made from wood or semi-precious stones.

Today the Mala or Rosary is worn as a fashion accessory as well as being used for meditation. The stones can be personal to the wearer e.g. Pearls stand for grace.
